William Brandon has been immersed in the performing arts since the age of seven, beginning with a foundation in music as an accomplished flute soloist. His early years in marching band introduced him to the visual language of movement, where he first encountered spinning through color guard and featured majorette performances—an influence that would quietly shape his future.
After college, William expanded his performance career into figure skating, touring internationally with Disney on Ice. It was there that he refined his sense of choreography, musicality, and athletic expression—skills that would later define his work in object manipulation.
In 2017, William discovered rope dart and flow arts by chance, igniting a creative breakthrough that redirected his career. Though entirely self-taught in this discipline, his unique fusion of dance, skating, and technical precision quickly set him apart. His work gained rapid recognition, leading to appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, America’s Got Talent: Extreme, and Canada’s Got Talent.
Recognizing an opportunity to push the boundaries of fire performance, William began approaching the art form with the structure and intentionality of a competitive sport—choreographing intricate, narrative-driven pieces. His debut video, Ashes, immediately drew national attention and led to his recruitment into the America’s Got Talent franchise. Since then, he has produced a series of cinematic performances, including his latest work, Somebody.
Beyond performance, William is a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for visual storytelling. His creativity extends into large-scale mural work, with installations spanning from Palm Springs to Athens, GA.
Driven by a commitment to elevate his craft, William continues to blend athleticism, artistry, and innovation—pushing fire performance into new territory as a legitimate and expressive discipline.
